 Laurén B. Carter joined the Louisville Collegiate School faculty in 2010 as Director of College Counseling. She brings more than 20 years experience in college admission offices and as a high school college counselor to Collegiate's counseling program.
A native of Ithaca, NY, Mrs. Carter possesses a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University at Albany, a master's degree in school counseling from New York University, and an advanced graduate certification in educational administration and leadership from The College of Saint Rose. A member of the National Association for College Admissions Counseling, Mrs. Carter has held positions as Director of College Counseling at both The Albany Academies in New York and Newark Academy in New Jersey and also served as Director of College Admissions at New York University. She published “The Early Application Dilemma” in the fall 2003 issue of Kaplan/Newsweek “How To Get Into College” and “Rules to the College Admissions Game” in the September 2004 issue of Capital Region Living.

 Scott
Prince joined the Louisville Collegiate School faculty in 2005 and currently serves as Head of School and as a College Counselor. He brings the experience of more than 20 years of teaching, coaching, administrative, and counseling experience in independent schools to his roles at Collegiate.
A Louisville native, Mr. Prince earned his B.A. from Davidson College and an M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania. A member of the National Association of College Admission Counselors (NACAC) and the Kentucky Association of Secondary and College Admission Counselors (KASCAC), Mr. Prince served as the Head of Upper School and Co-Director of College Counseling at Kent Denver School in Englewood, Colorado; Head of Upper School at The Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio; and, a history instructor and Assistant Athletic Director at The Culver Academies in Culver, Indiana.
