Safety
Patrol
The Safety Patrol is comprised
of fifth grade students, divided into squads.
Each quarter a new group of students serves. Members
are chosen based on teacher recommendations and
the student’s desire to participate. The
safety patrol maintains order in the hallways;
holds doors to aid the flow of traffic at lunch
and dismissal.
Fall and Spring Enrichment
Programs are available through
the Director of Lower School Student Services
at 502.479.0358. Information regarding these programs
is published twice a year and is available in
the division offices.
The following after-school sports
are offered:
- Basketball (coed), grades 3–5
- Soccer (coed), grades 3–4
- Tennis (coed), grades 4–5
- Boys’ Lacrosse, grade 5
Knitting Circle
Collegiate’s after-school
knitting circle is for students and adults from
the Collegiate community who enjoy or want to
learn to knit. Contributions of knitwear will
go to local charities. Limited to twenty students.
Quick Recall
This activity is open to fourth
and fifth grade students. Teams of students listen
to questions read by a moderator and try to beat
the clock and the opposing team with the correct
answer. Limited to twenty students.
