The Physical Education
program at Louisville Collegiate School is designed
to develop physically educated children who participate regularly
in physical activity and are preparing to address their fitness
needs both now and in the future.
The program offers an environment for students
to develop strong character, responsibility and an appreciation
of others. Students participate in physically challenging,
mentally stimulating, and socially sound activities.
The learning goals are to increase and improve
the child's sense of confidence for ongoing skill development;
mutual support within a group; agility and physical coordination,
and confidence in one's physical self and in being with others.
