Leadership and Trip Behavior
Students are exposed to theory and practice
of leadership, teamwork and trip behavior while on trips.
Collegiate trip behavior involves commitment to the group,
a positive attitude, and cooperation to achieve goals.
Each participant is expected to:
- take responsibility for health and safety of others
- demonstrate sound trip behavior, including commitment
to group
- decisions and a positive attitude
- effectively communicate and problem-solve on interpersonal
and group levels
- show initiative in leadership with peers
- support those in the leadership role
- work effectively as a team member
- take responsibility for learning; set and attain personal
goals
- provide effective oral and written feedback
