4 units including English I, II, III, IV IV or Advanced English Literature and Composition

 

Mathematics

3 units including Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II
(Sequence dependent on courses taken in Middle School)

 

History

3 units including History and the Arts I and II, US History

 

Science

3 units including Biology and Chemistry

 

World Language

3 units of world language in grades 9-12

 

Fine Arts

1.5 units History and the Arts I and II plus one additional unit

 

Electives

2 units

 

Physical Education & Health 1 unit including PE 9 and 10 (or team equivalent)
Health/Lifeskills

1 unit including 0.25 units in grades 9 and 10, 0.50 units in grade 11

 

Senior Symposium

1 unit

 

 

Community Service

Required yearly (no specific course)

 

 

Oratory

A speech to the Upper School student body must be given during the senior year.

 

Interim

A student must participate in and satisfactorily complete an Interim Program during each of their years in the Upper School.

 

A total of 22.50 units of credit are required for graduation.
