We are only asking for participation this year! Please consider a gift of $5 or $10 to help us achieve our goal!

If you have already donated to the Annual Fund, thank you for your support of Louisville Collegiate School!
Virginia Perrin Speed
As Louisville Collegiate School looks ahead to the next 100 years, it celebrates a spirit of tradition and innovation maintained by caring faculty and staff, beginning in Junior Kindergarten and continuing for a lifetime.

In order to fund and sustain the exciting endeavors on our campus, we rely on the generosity of our donors through Annual Fund and Capital Campaign solicitations. However there is another way to become a part of the Louisville Collegiate School legacy and at the same time be remembered for your generous contribution.

A Bequest is a gift made through a provision in your will naming Collegiate as beneficiary. A gift of this type may reduce estate taxes. By notifying the Development Office of your gift, we will name you or your family as a member of the Speed Society. The Speed Society honors Collegiate’s founder, Virginia Perrin Speed (1879-1968) and her husband William Shallcross Speed 1873-1955).

If you have already named Collegiate as a beneficiary in your will or if you would like to include Collegiate in your will, click and print the informational card, by clicking "more" and returning it to Collegiate. If you have questions, contact Jennifer Hartlage, Director of Development, by phone (502) 479-0345 or e-mail jhartlage@loucol.com.

Has your Transcript been lost or damaged? Replace it!

Your Louisville Collegiate School Transcript is an important memento from your past. You look through it and remember old friends and good times; your kids look through it and make fun of your hair. For these reasons and more, yearbooks are important-- here is the chance to replace yours!

The Alumni Office has an abundance of Transcripts in a variety of years. If you are interested, contact Alumni Coordinator, Ashley McIntyre at a_mcintyre@loucol.com or (502) 479-0375 to see if the year you are looking for is available.

The Collecting Committee is hard at work in planning this year's event themed "Collecting Goes Hollywood."
This year's event will be on February 21, 2009 at the Henry Clay.

Collecting is a great community event and includes a seated dinner, silent and live auctions featuring unique items. All of the money raised supports the operating budget, including financial assistance, professional development opportunities for faculty and staff, and state-of-the-art technology for the school.

The committee, made up of parent volunteers needs your help! They are working on securing various items for the silent and live auctions. Auction items in the past include jewelry, sports memorabilia, special event tickets, vacation homes, etc; the possibilities are endless.

A raffle is also a part of the Collecting event. This year the prize is a 50/50 cash split; the winner receives 50% of the amount sold and the school keeps the remaining 50%. Raffle tickets are $25. You can purchase raffle tickets or sign-up to attend the event by clicking "more."

If you have or know someone that has access to an item that would be great for Collecting or if you are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket, contact Ashley McIntyre at (502) 479- 0375 or e-mail her at a_mcintyre@loucol.com.
