Louisville Collegiate School Announces 2008 Merit Scholars
Collegiate awards half tuition scholarships
LOUISVILLE, KY. – Louisville Collegiate
School is pleased to announce this year's four Merit Scholars:
Lucas Boatwright, Olivia Duff, Sadie Harlan, and Han
Nguyen. Olivia Duff currently attends Sacred Heart Model
School, and she will join Louisville Collegiate eighth-grade
students Lucas Boatwright, Sadie Harlan, and Han Nguyen as
a member of Collegiate's Class of 2012. These students have
earned half tuition, renewable scholarships toward their high
school career at Louisville Collegiate School.

To be considered, students were required
to take the CTP standardized test, write a formal essay, submit
a letter of recommendation from a current teacher, and, if
selected as a finalist, interview with a selection committee.
From the fifteen finalists, four were selected as Merit Scholars.
The Louisville Collegiate School Merit Scholars
program is a highly selective, merit-based scholarship opportunity
that recognizes outstanding students based on superior academic
achievement, standardized test score results, and the potential
for significant contribution while attending Collegiate Upper
School and thereafter.
