Fifty-seven percent of seniors recognized by the College Board

LOUISVILLE, KY. LOUISVILLE, KY. – Forty Louisville Collegiate School students have earned AP Scholar recognition from the College Board as a result of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement (AP) Program Exams taken in May 2007. Fifty-seven percent of the Class of 2007 qualified as AP Scholars.

The College Board’s Advanced Placement Program offers students the opportunity to take challenging college-level courses while still in high school and to receive college credit, advanced placement or both for successful performance on the AP Exams. Students took the AP Exams in May after completing college-level courses at Collegiate, which offers a total of 17 AP classes to its students.
