Collegiate seniors enjoy ‘early’ success in
college admissions
32 percent of the Class of 2008 earned college acceptance
through early application
LOUISVILLE, KY. – Thirteen members (32%) of Louisville
Collegiate School’s Class of 2008 earned college acceptances
through early application procedures that released admissions
notifications prior to first semester exams and winter break.
In the alphabetical list of acceptances below, those schools
that use a binding “Early Decision” (ED) application
process are noted with an asterisk (*). Collegiate students
accepted via an ED process are required to withdraw immediately
all other applications and matriculate to the ED college
or university next fall.
In addition to the nine students who earned ED acceptances,
four more students earned admission via “Early Acceptance” (EA)
programs. Students accepted via an EA process have the option
of applying to and considering additional schools through
the spring, confident that they have an acceptance already
in hand from the EA school.
