Collegiate announces 2009-10 Board of Trustees
Four new members join school’s governing body
LOUISVILLE, KY. – Louisville
Collegiate School’s Board of Trustees recently
announced the appointment of four new members: Nelea
Absher, Vice President and Associate General Counsel
of Brown-Forman Corporation, Anne-Marie Brown,
founder of Davis Brown Consulting, LLC; specializing
in mental health counseling and educational consulting,
Suzanne Oldham, founder of Suzanne Oldham Consulting,
LLC and Senior Marketing Executive, and Tuffy Wood,
Managing Director of Morgan Keegan & Company, a
full service financial firm specializing in wealth management.
The four trustees will assume their
responsibilities for the 2009-2010 school year on July
1.
Barker Price, a marine management
consultant, has been elected to serve as Board President
for 2009-2010. Merrell Wall Grant, General Manager
of Monogram for GE Consumer and Industrial and 1974
alumna, will serve as Vice President. Phoebe Wood,
former Vice Chairman and CFO of Brown Forman Corporation,
will serve as Treasurer and Leslie Geoghegan,
a former management consultant will serve as secretary.
Corrie Nichols, President of the Parents Association,
will serve as the parent representative on the board.
Reelected to another three year term
are Cindy Skarbek, Director of the Gordon V.
and Helen C. Smith Foundation, and Bashar Masri,
Director and Senior Engineer of J2M Engineering.
Collegiate’s Board of Trustees
would also like to recognize and thank Sandra Frazier,
Nancy Kiesow-Webb, Kathy Oyler, and Bill Street,
who have ended their tenures of service as trustees.
Street has been designated a Director Emeritus on the
board.
