Collegiate’s Art in the Highlands to Feature
“Paint Your Own Pottery”
Louisville Stoneware Booth Allows Visitors to Create
Unique Art
LOUISVILLE, KY. – Louisville Stoneware, a sponsor
for Louisville Collegiate School’s Art in the
Highlands invites visitors of the new juried art show
to stop by the “Paint Your Own Pottery”
booth. Art in the Highlands will take place September
19 and 20 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Collegiate’s
campus in the historic Highlands neighborhood of Louisville,
Kentucky.
Both children and adults
can channel their creativity into painting one-of-a-kind
pieces such as mugs and trivets. The stoneware will
be glazed, fired and ready for pickup at Studio One,
Louisville Stoneware’s downtown location.
“Here at Louisville
Stoneware we enjoy helping young creative minds and
encourage individuality for the aspiring artist in everyone,”
said Lisa Mullins, managing partner of Louisville Stoneware.
Art in the Highlands will
continue the fine tradition of fall festivals in the
Louisville area with food vendors, entertainment and
children’s activities. Off-site parking at Jim
Porter’s located at 2345 Lexington Road will be
available with free shuttle service to the event. For
