Collegiate Presents 2010 Gala Event
Guests invited to “high-flying” event

LOUISVILLE, KY. – Louisville Collegiate School is proud to present the 2010 Collegiate Gala (formerly Collecting) on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at~the Louisville Executive Aviation Hangar at Bowman Field, 2700 Gast Boulevard.

The high-flying event will feature live and silent auctions along with drinks and tapas-inspired hors d’oeuvres. Guests will have the opportunity to bid on fabulous trips, paintings and sports memorabilia. The event will be catered by Kathy Cary, chef/owner of Lilly’s Restaurant. Angie Fenton, a writer for the Voice Tribune Newspaper will serve as emcee of the Collegiate Gala.

Guests walking through the historic hangar doors will be transported to a timeless 1940’s upscale night club reminiscent of the famed clubs of the jet set found in New York, London, Paris, Tokyo and Rome. Following the auctions, guests are invited to gather on the dance floor and dance the night away to music provided by Louisville’s own DJ Ryan Coxx.

Funds raised by The Gala support Collegiate’s operating budget, funding state-of-the-art technology, financial assistance and faculty grants.

Louisville Collegiate School is a JK-12, co-ed independent day school located in the historic Highlands neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky.
