Athletic Summer Camps 2017
From basic dribbling to mastering the hat trick, Collegiate has an athletic camp for everyone! Camps are designed to build skills and improve your overall performance in the gym and on the playing field. Athletic camps are taught by Collegiate Varsity coaches who bring their knowledge of the sport and expertise in coaching to young athletes. WEEK 1 -

WEEK ONE - June 5-9

Titan/Amazon Soccer
Coach Chad Wozniak Grades K-4 9:00-noon
Join Collegiate Varsity Soccer Coach Chad Wozniak, recipient of the 2016 Regional Coach of the Year Award, and some of his nationally ranked soccer players in a week of fun-filled soccer games and skill development. Coach and his players will focus on fun competitions and scrimmages for soccer players of all levels. This camp takes place at Champions Trace fields.

Amazon Field Hockey Coach Miranda Curry Grades 3-8 9:00-noon
Collegiate’s Amazon field hockey camp is designed for all levels and focuses on skill development and player endurance. After morning warm ups we will play team building games and then focus on building field hockey skills. Coach Curry inspires all athletes in a creative way for every player to enjoy the game!

Amazon/Titan Basketball Coaches Gerard Mattingly and Zach Settembre Grades K-4 12:30-3:30
Amazon’s Coach Gerard Mattingly and his staff will host a camp focused on improving fundamental and essential skills through small group instruction, drills, and game application. Spirited competitions and scrimmages give players a chance to work as a team and apply their new skills. Join the Amazons for a week of fun, instruction, and games that are suitable for all ability levels.

WEEK 2 - June 12-16

Amazon Lacrosse Emily Mills Grades 3-5 9:00-noon
Campus Field This Amazon lacrosse camp will focus on introducing the sport to 3rd-5th graders with a focus on lacrosse fundamentals, bolstered by age appropriate drills and applying the skills in play. Daily matches among campers will give athletes a chance to practice their new abilities and to work as a team towards achieving a goal of ease, comfort, and skill in the game. For those more experienced players, this is a chance to improve the basic skills that lay a foundation for success at the next level.

Titan Lacrosse James Lee Grades 5-8 12:30-3:30
Campus Field This Titan lacrosse camp will focus on introducing the sport to 2nd-8th graders with a focus on lacrosse fundamentals, bolstered by age appropriate drills and applying the skills in play. Daily matches among campers will give athletes a chance to practice their new abilities and to work as a team towards achieving a goal of ease, comfort, and skill in the game. For those more experienced players, this is a chance to improve the basic skills that lay a foundation for success at the next level.

Coach Settembre and his staff will host a camp focused on improving fundamental and essential skills through small group instruction, drills, and game application. Spirited competitions and scrimmages give players a chance to work as a team and apply their new skills. Current Titan players will introduce the campers to the same types of drills and development opportunities that our own players experience as members of our basketball program. Amazon Basketball

COLLEGIATE FAMILIES:

Early and Late Registration: Registrations completed by May 1 will be discounted $10. Registrations less than 7 days before the start of a camp will be subject to a $10 late registration fee.
 
Lunch: Students participating in both a morning and afternoon camp or an all-day camp, should bring a sack lunch Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, a pizza lunch is provided for these campers. We are unable to provide lunch this Summer due to the renovation of the Dining Room and Kitchen. Click here to view details of this exciting project!
