is a member of the Parents Association!! |
The purpose of the Parents Association
is to:
- Support the well-rounded education of the students by
providing financial and volunteer assistance for their educational
and recreational needs;
- Promote open communication between the administration,
teachers and parents;
- Encourage parental involvement in Louisville Collegiate
School; and
- Assist the school in fulfilling its mission through the
organization’s activities.
By supporting our fundraisers, the Parents
Association is able to provide:
- Grants to Faculty (approximately $20,000 in 2006-2007!)
- Field Day & Skating Parties for Lower School students
- Fall Festival for all families
- Welcoming of new families
- Teacher Appreciation events
- After-Prom party
Fundraisers include:
- Kroger gift cards (easy, convenient, reloadable)
- Target Visa (apply for a card & designate LCS as
your school of choice)
- Innisbrook Wrapping Paper (if 500 Collegiate families
would reload $200 every month on their Kroger card, we wouldn’t
have to sell wrapping paper anymore!!)
- General Mills BoxTops & On-line Marketplace (so easy!!
www.boxtops4education.com)
- Doll’s Market receipts (drop them off in the box
at the front office)
