Louisville
Collegiate School’s A
Leap Without Bounds capital campaign
stands as the school’s boldest community fundraising
effort in the nearly one hundred year history of the school.
Having raised $11.57 million dollars thus far, the
campaign far surpasses all capital efforts to date.
A Leap
Without Bounds
required a significant leap of faith by the school’s
Board of Trustees and administration. Believing that the pressing
needs of the upper school’s physical plant required
immediate attention in order to support a quality academic
program, the Board pursued an aggressive financing strategy
to make a new facility an immediate reality.
Willig
Hall was completed under budget and on time. As
a result, the allure of a vibrant upper school program has
attracted increased numbers of students – since the
outset of the campaign upper school enrollment has grown 25%
and will top 200 students for the first time next fall. We
built it, and students came.
We are in an exciting
time as preparations begin for the school’s Centennial,
but we need your help. We ask that you assist in concluding
this capital campaign, so that we can look forward to the
next hundred years.
Already,
an anonymous donor has challenged our community to
accelerate reaching the campaign’s goal by promising
a gift of $1 million for $3 million raised.
However, pledges
must be secured before September 15, 2008.
This unprecedented
opportunity serves as the catalyst for the final phase
of our campaign solicitations. Please help us fulfill the
mission of Louisville Collegiate School, preparing students
to demonstrate outstanding academic preparation, extraordinary
character, and confident leadership.
Campaign contributions of all sizes will
assist us in concluding the campaign. Please
contribute today by following this link.
Thank you, again,
for all you have done for the school, its enduring
mission, the community it serves, and the students it transforms.
With your help we can work together to conclude A
Leap Without Bounds, the school’s most successful
capital campaign effort to date.
